Kamcos 2.0 is a touch-optimized user interface design for textile machines in the field of warp knitting machines, technical textiles and warp preparation. The interface is used in the industrial production of textiles. A capacitive 15″ multi-touch panel installed in the cabinet enables the user to easily access all functions of the machine. The tasks that can be covered range from simple production monitoring to mechanical conversions to servicing in case of malfunctions. The operating concept has a modular structure and offers a uniform interface for many different types of machines.

Jury Statement

The successfully implemented interface design of KAMCOS 2.0 supports users in the industrial workflow, and leads them through the different work processes securely and in a well-structured manner. The context-specific implementation of a complex control system convinces thanks to the well-realised integration of user needs and the simplification of work processes in the industrial sector.
