Meet the New Talent Winners

In this Talent Track we will speak to New Talent award winners Ophelia Chen (Routio) as well as Sabrina Kuom, Sarah Franke and Paula Trummer (cosmo).

About the Projects:

Routio: Enhancing Organization for Kids with ADHD by Kejia (Carly) Chen, Yinyu (Ophelia) Chen and Tingyu Tian is a developmental tool designed for children with ADHD, featuring a magnetic board that connects to apps tailored for parents and teachers. It includes Tetris-shaped blocks for daily tasks, model houses and trees for steps, and a ball-shaped controller for recording and replaying task sequences. The app integrates with the physical components to track real-time progress and manage classroom seating to enhance focus. Routio helps in forming habits and managing symptoms effectively.

cosmo - discover the colours of language by Sarah Franke, Sabrina Kuom and Paula Trummer is is a tablet application in which students discover the English language in a playful, indirect and context-based way. Instead of being controlled by extrinsic incentives, they learn autonomously based on their own interests. This project focuses on how collective learning, meaningful gamification and demonstrating the value of languages can encourage students' intrinsic motivation in the long term.

About the Format:

Talent Track: Award Winners presents outstanding projects from the New Talent award category. The format, live interactive presentations followed by a Q&A session, offers a behind-the-scenes look at award-winning projects and shines a spotlight on some of the most promising “young guns” in experience design.
