Three questions for the project team

What was the particular challenge of the project from a UX point of view?
The main challenge was finding the balance and interrelation between the three core design principles of our project approach: translating design guidelines into usable interfaces, creating a cohesive branded design system, and designing a multi-touchpoint experience that extends beyond the product itself. Merging and harmonizing these principles to achieve a consistent user experience across multiple products was a significant challenge, but we believe our team tackled it to the best of our abilities.

What was your personal highlight in the development process? Was there an aha!-moment, was there a low point?
A personal highlight was during the design phase, where we had to tackle the design concept with a holistic approach to UX, considering both digital and physical aspects. Due to its nature, this product required significant attention to graphic development, as it plays a crucial role in the effectiveness of user interaction. Our design successfully combined these elements to create a coherent experience. On the downside, we faced challenges due to the incompatibility of processes and tools between our design team and the software development team. This issue forced us to assess various trade-offs in animated transitions, which affected the overall desired UX solution.

Where do you see yourself and the project in the next five years?
As a team, we see ourselves 'evolving the story' in the near future. With this product about to hit the market, we are eager to gather feedback from end users to improve and refine it. Our goal is to create unique yet familiar experiences and consistently engage consumers. This product will be a pioneer, and with the leverage of over-the-air (OTA) technology, we aim to provide continuous updates, ensuring effective interactions and a long-lasting product for our users.
