Two questions to the project team
What was the particular challenge of the project from a UX point of view?
We faced a number of challenges. One of the biggest, however, was the development up to the final design. We had a lot of drafts and had to discard many of them because they didn't fit 100% and covered important elements, for example. Once we had this, we were able to work much faster in all other areas. Another difficulty was the variety of games that first had to be thought up and then everything had to be neatly linked together. This took a lot of time and concentration.
Where do you see yourself and the project in the next five years?
We would love to see the project become developed and fully usable. Also, we'd love to see Hugo grow with the help of new people to add plenty of new dialects, broaden the contexts of the existing ones, and generally improve the app from a consumer point of view. Thinking about the big picture, a dream would come true if fewer dialects would fade away and new connections among different people can be developed through the use of the app.
