Three questions to the project team
What was the particular challenge of the project from a UX point of view?
The main UX challenge was to design a product that stands out in a highly competitive market and establishes new habits for job seekers. The goal was not just to offer another recruitment tool but to encourage users to turn to Restworld as their first choice, breaking away from other platforms.
What was your personal highlight in the development process? Was there an aha!-moment, was there a low point?
The standout moment was during the user testing phase with employers. Seeing their excitement and satisfaction while interacting with the redesigned tool was 100% “aha!” moment. For many, Restworld’s innovative features—like the intuitive Kanban board—felt like a breath of fresh air compared to outdated, slow solutions they had been using.
Where do you see yourself and the project in the next five years?
In the next five years, Restworld aims to become a global platform for job recruitment in the hospitality industry. By scaling internationally, the solution will streamline hiring processes worldwide, setting a new standard for how workers and employers connect.
