Three questions to the project team
What was the particular challenge of the project from a UX point of view?
Through the project, the team thought of the many different use cases and the usability of the project. There are so many planning, habit tracking, and AI products out in the market. However, the team wanted to create a a product and experience that focuses solely on the problems of the users and technology and features that will matter to the users. The team faced some challenges with reducing the unnecessary designs and technology that will only become decorations, but highlighting the core experiences that brings solution to the user's needs. The Musee Team believes that UX should be straight forward and has reasons, and understand the different user types and needs.
What was your personal highlight in the development process? Was there an aha!-moment, was there a low point?
There were definitely some up and down moments into creating the product. The highlight moment is definitely when the product came together, the physical lamp and the digital Amy App. Through different testing, when the team saw the feasibility and the usability of the product, was the highlight. However, there were also some difficult moments, such as executing some of out ideas, such as integrating AI and prototyping some of the physical lamp elements. Overall, it was a growing moment for the team as well, UX wise, and design wise.
Where do you see yourself and the project in the next five years?
Our Musee team, as a creative and problem solvers, we still strive to achieve higher goals with the project. We plan to meet more users through the product and the service of Amy Lamp, and form a community with many different users and their unique use cases. Our mission is not just for the users to use and build sustainable habits, but through that experience of growing, the team wishes for the users to experience difference and positive relationship with their lives and themselves. The Musee Team hope to bring confidence and unique yet effective experience to many different users around the world.
