Three questions to the project team
What was the particular challenge of the project from a UX point of view?
The key challenge of this project was balancing a gamified user experience with professional efficiency, as the software is designed for the workplace and needs to meet the needs of both employers (our clients) and employees (our users). To address this, we conducted four rounds of in-depth interviews with different stakeholders, using their feedback to drive iterative changes during the concept design phase. Ultimately, we created two distinct dashboards with different access levels within the same portal, achieving an aesthetic balance between enjoyment and professionalism through careful choices in layout, color, and stroke.
What was your personal highlight in the development process? Was there an aha!-moment, was there a low point?
There were many 'aha!' moments throughout our development process, but most of them occurred during our interviews. For instance, in the early stages of our research, we assumed that most people would be passionate about their jobs and eager to maintain close relationships with their colleagues. However, as our research progressed, we discovered that people have varying perspectives on work-life balance and colleague relationships. This insight led us to realize that we should tailor services to meet the unique needs of different stakeholders, while maintaining a shared goal of making work both enjoyable and fulfilling with a sense of self-accomplishment.
Where do you see yourself and the project in the next five years?
As we continuously develop and iterate on our product, we aim for it to become a daily check-in tool in the workplace, making work a more enjoyable experience and fostering greater team cohesion and collaboration.
