Unlock - Embrace style without compromise
Sohee Kim, Eun Soo Cho
Textile waste in the U.S. is rapidly increasing, with the average person discarding 81 pounds of clothing each year. Only 15% of post-consumer textiles are recycled. The fashion industry is projected to increase greenhouse gas emissions by over 50% by 2030. To address this issue, the aim is to analyze the consumption patterns of individuals purchasing these fashion items and build a fashion platform that allows users to shop according to their needs, ultimately helping to reduce textile waste.
