Moving a chair company in new directions - Our client Varier, designs chairs that move with the body, encouraging active sitting by engaging the core muscles. Could we somehow give the chair a voice, nudging you to stay active and feel better? To help users improve their sitting habits we designed Glow. A bluetooth tracker attached to the underside of Varier's iconic Move chair, tracking your every movement. The tracker then sends this data to an app. It's not good for people to sit 8 hours straight, every day, and this is basically the problem that Glow is trying to solve. It’s simple really.
