Three questions for the project team

What was the particular challenge of the project from a UX point of view?
The most significant challenge of the project from a UX perspective was achieving balance. We employed a six-level pyramid model to evaluate our design, which encompasses everything from basic functionality to deeper emotional aspects. Balancing our limited manpower, resources, and time to develop the most effective research strategies and comprehensive problem-solving methods was crucial. This model helps us prioritize and allocate our efforts efficiently, ensuring that each aspect of the design receives appropriate attention. By doing so, we can create a well-rounded solution that not only meets functional requirements but also addresses emotional and experiential needs, ultimately providing a more holistic user experience.

What was your personal highlight in the development process? Was there an aha!-moment, was there a low point?
I will say each team member had their own highlight moments. For me, the most significant moment was during the user research phase. Meeting the water pipe maintenance crew and having them willingly share their insights was incredibly enriching. It was an 'aha!' moment when we realized that even minor improvements could greatly enhance the user experience.

However, there were also low points, such as the challenges we faced in balancing our limited resources and time. Overcoming these difficulties required us to constantly prioritize to ensure a comprehensive design.

Overall, the process was filled with learning and growth. We believe that our solution has the potential not only to meet but also to exceed user expectations.

Where do you see yourself and the project in the next five years?
I see CitiFix becoming a standard tool for urban management, significantly improving public safety, resource efficiency, and community engagement. Our team aim to grow as a leader in smart solutions, leveraging the success of CitiFix to develop new projects that address more challenges, foster sustainable development, and enhance the quality of urban life worldwide.
