Three questions to the project team

What was the particular challenge of the project from a UX point of view?
This was personally really fun project for me, because this is the first project I've put a lot of effort in UI hence I was able to improve my UI skills and grow as a UI designer. However, because I built this project as a part of my UI class, there was definitely limited time for development of UX. Even though I've done basic user research, it failed to cover the needs from target audience of this service. Since I've put a lot of time and effort into user interface, I'd like to expand and iterate the whole design process so that I can complete lacking parts like interaction and usability testing.

What was your personal highlight in the development process? Was there an aha!-moment, was there a low point?
A personal highlight in developing BrewGlow was creating brand guidelines and exploring UI design elements. I focused on maintaining branding consistency, which guided me in creating uniformity and adhering to initial objectives. Despite facing a low point due to uncertainty in branding, I completed the project as planned. This was my first opportunity to explore a wide range of colors and textures while developing my own brand. As I delved into UI components, I balanced accessibility and aesthetics throughout the design process.

Where do you see yourself and the project in the next five years?
I plan to continuously develop BrewGlow to provide a more comprehensive and seamless experience for potential users. I hope this project can shift the stereotype of tea culture, making it trendier and more appealing to Gen Z and younger generations. In five years, I aim to work as a UX/UI designer in an agency setting where I can work on and develop a variety of platforms, including but not limited to apps, web, VR/AR, and even projection mapping. My goal is to gain experience across many industries and platforms, allowing me to build my own strengths and specialties. This will enable me to fully immerse myself in and contribute my interests and skills to the UI/UX design industry.
