Three questions to the project team

What was the particular challenge of the project from a UX point of view?
The UX challenge of the project was making advanced AI capabilities feel accessible and intuitive for small e-commerce sellers, many of whom lacked design experience or technical skills. These users often juggle multiple tasks and have limited time to learn complex tools. The solution needed to simplify AI-powered content creation into a guided, task-based workflow with minimal friction. Designing intuitive steps for image and copy generation, along with real-time previews and editable outputs, was key. Balancing automation with user control ensured the experience felt both efficient and trustworthy. Supporting multilingual needs and reducing cognitive load were also essential to create a tool that non-experts could use with confidence.

What was your personal highlight in the development process? Was there an aha!-moment, was there a low point?
A personal highlight was the moment we successfully transformed complex AI workflows into a simple, guided interface that even non-technical e-commerce users could navigate with ease. It was a true 'aha!' moment—seeing early testers go from hesitation to confidence after generating their first product image or marketing copy. A low point came earlier, when we realized that simply integrating powerful models wasn’t enough—without thoughtful UX, users felt overwhelmed. That insight led us to rethink everything from task flows to micro-interactions. Turning those challenges into intuitive solutions was the most rewarding part of the process.

Where do you see yourself and the project in the next five years?
In five years, I see Boost becoming a widely adopted AI design platform that empowers small and medium-sized businesses globally to produce compelling, platform-ready content with minimal effort. The project will likely grow into a creative infrastructure that supports not just e-commerce, but also education, social media, and emerging creator economies. Personally, I hope to continue working at the intersection of AI and design, leading efforts to build intuitive, ethical, and inclusive digital tools that make professional-grade creativity more accessible to everyone, regardless of technical background or resources.
