Augmented Bodies envisions an AR mobile app that empowers amputees to reimagine their prosthetics and body identities in non-normative ways. It builds a digital community where users explore fashionable designs, customize their aesthetics, virtually try them on, and capture moments to reflect on each design’s emotional impact. The app is grounded in an inclusive design strategy that ensures disabled humans are heard and co-design the assistive technologies that shape their bodies and lives.
