The Beacon app enhances international business meetings such as annual conventions, conferences and management events through context and location-specific information as well as interaction options. If participants are within a specific radius in the defined space, the app will trigger one or a number of surprising interactions. Among other features, the app can augment events with an event countdown, a digital agenda, group idea applications, a range of feedback channels and even a table finder with a ‘shake-it’ function. In this way, events are experienced more intensively, leaving a lasting impression on participants. In a comparison with the previous year, participant satisfaction has been increased by 32 percent.
