The Pyramid is an interactive object that combines past pictures and sounds. It is intended for people with dementia and their caregivers. For instance, an image of the Freiburg cathedral triggers the sound of chiming bells. The combination of images and sounds with localized or individual references aims at triggering memories and thus encouraging conversations between patients and their attendants.
