Elmo is a shared vehicle that becomes a moving community space for older people, giving them back their mobility that they have lost for physical and social reasons. Loss of mobility leads to social isolation and has become an increasing issue in our society. In this project, shared vehicles are introduced to meet the mobility needs of the elderly, based on thorough user surveys and research.
