Touch-optimized user interface design for textile machines in the field of warp knitting machines, technical textiles and warp preparation. In the setting of industrial production of textiles the operator controls the functions of the machine by means of a capacitive 15" multi-touch panel installed in the cabinet. The tasks range from simple production monitoring, through mechanical conversions up to servicing in case of malfunctions. The operating concept has a modular structure and uses a uniform interface for the wide range of machine types.
