Built for patient needs, Lora is a data-rich VUI assistant that better connects patients with UPMC’s hospital services. The voice assistant interface is designed to solve key pain points defined in research, which are finding care, navigating in the hospital, requesting an escort, and reading test results. While there is a growing shortage of workers, Lora aims to reduce some of the human responsibility by using responsive voice-led features that optimize complicated commands for patients.
