When developing the Morphing Instrument Panel, Faurecia united its know-how in the areas of mechatronics, kinematics and design. In a regular driving mode, the panel displays driving information, safety signals, navigation and media. In autonomous mode, the display slides into a central position. The shape of the dashboard adapts seamlessly. The movements are enabled by innovative materials and micro-mechanics. As a result, passengers always benefit from an optimal display position.
