Preparing kids for their MRI-scan with Ellie’s MRI Journey

With the Ellie’s MRI Journey app, kids aged four to eight can be prepared for their MRI scan at home, so they know what to expect and can be scanned without anesthesia. The gamified app consists of a child-friendly information movie customized to different hospitals, an interactive game in which kids help Ellie-the-elephant get an MRI-scan and a bio-feedback training module that empowers kids to lie still. The experience concept has been co-created with healthcare professionals and psychologists.
