Inspired by dating apps, users swipe right to keep a device or swipe left to “dump” it for recycling. A cheeky saying appears when ending the “relationship,” adding humour to the experience. Once dumped, a pickup can be scheduled through the app. Gentle reminders and a relatable tone encourage Gen Z to build sustainable habits and rethink emotional ties to technology.
