Booko is an IoT-enabled network of connected public book-sharing boxes designed to improve access to reading in urban environments. A mobile application allows users to locate nearby bookboxes, check book availability in real time, and borrow or return items seamlessly. By combining physical infrastructure with digital services, the system encourages sustainable sharing, strengthens community engagement, and promotes equitable access to knowledge.
