One-two years ago forwerts and Deutsche Bahn took the 2016 established ICE Portal and looked at it through a prism called User Experience. Usability testing and specific market research paved the way for the design team through iterative research phases, design- and development sprints. The systematic approach allowed the development of a flexible Atomic Design and the complete makeover of the design language, resulting in a highly modular, coherent design with an outstanding UX & UI.
