WING WOMAN - an app for solo female travellers

WING WOMAN empowers women to participate in solo travel. It focuses on trip planning, safety, and community and was designed using an empowerment-focused design methodology. Although solo travel has been identified as a transformative experience for women, loneliness, safety and security, lack of confidence, and fear of social stigma keep many women from travelling alone. This app is designed to provide women with tools to encourage, empower and enrich their solo travel experience.
